Read MoreThe Rowan County Fiscal Court has determined that there is a finding of no significant impact for the Eastern Light Distillery project in Rowan County, for the purpose of providing assistance to a local nonprofit agency, the Morehead-Rowan County Economic Development Council (EDC). In its efforts to facilitate new job creation in the area, the EDC plans to use these funds to purchase equipment for a new local manufacturer. The EDC will then lease this equipment to the manufacturer for job creation, will have no significant impact on the human environment.
