Directors met with the Court to report on the progress and activities of their respective departments at this month’s meeting held on Tuesday October 21st.

Rowan County is proud to announce the continuation of its County-wide “Ringing of the 21 Bells” event, set to take place at 11 a.m. on November 11, 2025. This meaningful tribute invites every citizen, school, business, and public entity to participate in a tradition that honors our nation’s veterans and active-duty military members.

With the suspension of SNAP benefits, more than 2,200 Rowan County families could face food insecurity this November. Now, more than ever, our community must come together. Rowan County Schools is calling on local organizations, businesses, and individuals to help fill the SNAP gap and ensure no child in Rowan County goes hungry.
