The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute continues its mission of enriching the lives of adults aged 50 and older through a wide range of educational, social, and community-based programs. Residents are invited to attend an open house for spring courses on Wednesday, January 14th, from 1–2:30 p.m. at the Morehead Methodist Church, 227 W. Main Street, to learn more about the upcoming semester and explore opportunities for learning and connection.
Spring course offerings include a diverse array of engaging topics designed to inform, inspire, and entertain. Participants can choose from classes such as Shrines of the World, US and International Travel, Great Decisions, Yoga Foundations, A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls, OLLI Amblers, Spanish for Beginners, Beyond Gatsby, TED Talks, Nonfiction Book Discussion Group, and Drama 101. These programs provide hands-on experiences, opportunities for discussion, and meaningful social interaction with fellow learners.
The OLLI program remains committed to fostering lifelong learning, promoting wellness, and strengthening community connections for older adults throughout Rowan County.
